CHICKEN Inn coach Joey Antipas says he is calm ahead of a tricky tie against Whawha this afternoon in an early kick-off, at 1pm, in this Castle Lager Premiership tie at Ascot which will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
The coach believes it is a difficult assignment as their opponents, who are in the relegation zone, don’t have much to play for.
“It is a difficult assignment for us and they will be difficult opponents as they don’t have much to play for,” said Antipas.
“We just have to remain calm and take each game as it comes. We have come a long way and we have a short way to go.
“Pressure is part of the game for us and we just have to continue with the way we have been doing, we have been in these pressure situations before.”
Whawha coach Lloyd Mutasa said he expects his men to fight.
“We have a reputation to protect and we have also fared well at home. We are looking forward to a good game and we have done well against Dynamos and Highlanders at home and we believe we can beat Chicken Inn at home. To us these are the kind of matches that our youngsters thrive in.
“We are the underdogs and we have to give it our all. We had a good week in terms of the way the youngsters were doing in training and I am sure the reflection will be given tomorrow,” he said.
