Bulawayo Chiefs 0-0 Black Rhinos
THREE matches into the season, Bulawayo Chiefs are still searching for the maximum points in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League after recording yet another draw against Black Rhinos yesterday at Luveve Stadium.
It was a nil all stalemate, with the visitors hitting the road back home, happy to have snatched a point.
Best described, the game was a drab.
Players ran all over the pitch, losing possession and wasting chances that came their way. As expected the match was attended by a handful of people who walked out a disappointed lot, for there was not much of entertaining or skilful play.
Chiefs’ coach Lizwe Sweswe conceded that his boys misfired. Amakhosi Amahle are yet to taste victory this season with two draws and a 1-0 loss inflicted on them by ZPC Kariba last Monday.

“It was matter of hitting the net, we missed it in the first and second-half but its work in progress. Possession and mental strength is there, we just have to learn to deal with the moments,” he said.
“It was, however, a good game. We needed the points but what is most important is seeing identity, where we are going and we have been playing good football which is a sign of good progress,” he said.
Black Rhinos’ coach, Stanford “Stix” Mutizwa was all smiles for the gainful outing, which left them on four points after one win, a draw and a defeat at the hands of Highlanders.

“I’m happy with collecting the point. We played well. The team is coping up and there is a lot of progress.
“We have to improve on the positives we picked from the games played so far,” he said.
However, Mutizwa had no kind words for his strikers.
“Strikers have to score goals. We need goals, we can’t be playing every week and not scoring.”
