SIMBA Bhora has concluded a deal for attacking midfielder Perfect Chikwende who was with FC Platinum last season while Manica Diamonds have snatched Kudzanai Dhemere from ZPC Kariba.

Chikwende becomes the latest addition to the Simba Bhora team which has not hidden its intention to be aggressive on the transfer market.

Simba Bhora is said to have already sealed deals with former Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona, Bulawayo Chiefs’ Billy Vheremu and Dynamos’ Junior Makunike.

Sheasham leftback Thubelihle Jubane is another player on the Simba Bhora radar.

Simba Bhora’s secretary-general Taurayi Janhi without confirming any of the mentioned moves, said the team was indeed in the market to build a strong side for the upcoming campaign.

“We are in the market and we will make announcements if there are any at the appropriate time,” said Janhi.

However, a reliable source told Zimpapers Sports Hub that Chikwende’s move and that of Dhemhere are both done deals.

“The official confirmations will be made soon but the deals have been concluded,” said the source.

Premier Soccer League clubs that include FC Platinum, Ngezi Platinum Stars and Chicken Inn have already started negotiations with their targets while other deals have reportedly been concluded.

FC Platinum has already managed to get the signatures of the Bosso duo of Mbongeni Ndlovu and midfielder Brighton Mhanhire.

Both players had their contracts with Bosso ending on December 31.

Andrew Tandi, Ray Lunga and seasoned Rahman Kutsanzira are reportedly some of the players that the Bulawayo giants are making frantic efforts to tie down.

Word has it that Gamecocks have settled to rope in Bulawayo Chiefs enterprising midfielder Mthokozisi Msebe, Hwange captain Kelly Shiyandindi and striker Brighton Makopa.

Veteran gaffer Joey “Mafero” Antipas is set to bounce back to the technical bench of the 2015 league champions.

The club has reportedly decided to part ways with Prince Matore and Farai Tawarechera.

Bulawayo Chiefs are adamant they will hold on to striker Obriel Chirinda who is being chased by Dynamos. The player himself has pledged loyalty to Chiefs. —@innocentskizoe
