ZIMBABWE Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) has convened the Chimanimani Transfrontier Conservation Area (TFCA) Regional Steering Committee meeting to review activities implemented in 2025 and consider the 2026 workplan.

The meeting brought together regional and local stakeholders who assessed progress made during the year and shared expectations for future programme implementation within the TFCA framework.

Addressing the meeting, ZimParks director for Commercial Services, Ms Nomsa Chitsaka said Transfrontier Conservation Areas were a key pillar in the implementation of Zimbabwe’s National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) and the country’s Vision 2030.

“TFCAs contribute to national development objectives by integrating sustainable conservation, community development and economic opportunities,” she said.
