Chinese Ambassador meets Minister Soda

Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhou Ding paid a courtesy call on Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Dr Zhemu Soda at his Munhumutapa offices today.

After their closed-door meeting, Dr Soda told the media that he is optimistic his forthcoming trip to China will yield positive results, helping Zimbabwe benefit from the Asian giant’s experience.

He said the visit is expected to provide valuable guidance on the most effective approaches for informing the world about developments in the country.

“We will be in China to take a leaf from how they have dealt with the development of the media,” he said.

Ambassador Zhou said during today’s meeting, both sides highlighted the importance of Zimbabwe and China working together to combat misinformation and disinformation.
