Chinese embassy donates furniture

Deputy Chinese ambassador to Zimbabwe Cui Chun has urged zanu-pf’s Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs Cde Kudzanai Chipanga to use his recently assumed post to strengthen the party and develop the country.
Cde Chipanga, who is the Makoni West Member of Parliament was elected Deputy Youth League Secretary at the league’s conference held last month.
Mr Cui was speaking at Charamba Secondary School in Makoni West constituency on Tuesday during the handover of furniture and irrigation pumps donated to the school by the Chinese Embassy.

“I also wish to express my sincere gratitude to you, Cde Chipanga, for your cordial invitation to visit your constituency and my warmest congratulations on your election as the Deputy Secretary of Youth Affairs of zanu-pf,” he said.

“I believe that this post will help you play an even more important role to lead the young people in strengthening the party and developing the country.”
Mr Cui said that the donation, which came following President Mugabe’s recent visit to Beijing, reinforced China’s commitment to bilateral ties with Zimbabwe.

Cde Chipanga said the donations would go a long way in attaining the goals set by the Government economic blueprint, Zim-Asset.
The donation made by the Chinese Embassy comprised of 60 chairs, 60 desks, 20 irrigation pumps, 10 netballs and 10 basketballs.
