Without giving out much, she said her team would be unveiling measures to improve service delivery mindful of the little time left before the country goes to elections.
She said residents should come on board if the town is to realise its full potential.
Also councillor for ward 14 in Alaska, the mayor said she never expected that her last minute decision to stand on an MDC-T ticket in the 2008 March harmonised elections would see her at the helm of Chinhoyi council.
“My decision to stand was made at the last minute as some who were approached developed cold feet and the party risked not having a representative and mindful of the injustices that I experienced I decided to challenge the status quo,” she said.
