FORMER Dynamos striker Nyasha Chintuli is on cloud nine after grabbing a hat-trick on debut for Eswatini topflight side Nsingizini Hotspurs on Sunday.
Chintuli’s goals were enough to sink police side Royal Leopard 3-1.
Hotspurs are also home to former Ngezi Platinum juniors coach Alexio Sigion, who was in charge of the club for the first time after he was appointed head coach.
Although he was influential in helping the team lift the Chibuku Super Cup trophy Chintuli struggled for goals at Dynamos, which prompted his exit.
However, with a flying start at Hotspurs, the striker seemed looking forward to carrying on with his scoring form.
“I guess it is every striker’s dream to score as many goals as possible. Scoring a hat-trick on debut was incredible for me and I am happy with that,” he said.
“I am looking forward to continuing scoring goals and helping the club achieve its goals. I am thankful to all the people who have supported me through the way and I want to make them proud.
“So I will continue working hard on and off the pitch for me to achieve team and club goals as I need to be consistent in my performances. “The move here is meant to revive myself and my career at large. In the past few months, things didn’t go as well as I would have wanted.
“My game lacked goals and being at a club like Dynamos where the expectations are high from everyone around the club I believe moving to another environment was key to revive my game.”
