DYNAMOS are back in Bulawayo this weekend, to face Hwange in the second round of the Castle Lager Premiership.

The Harare giants return to Bulawayo following last Sunday’s hard fought loss to Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium and will be hoping to redeem themselves this time around.

Dynamos are using Barbourfields for their home matches,as they await for Harare venues to meet the specified requirements to play host to Premier League matches.

Hwange started their preparations for the match yesterday in a buoyant mood, following their 1-0 victory over Khama Billiat’s Yadah last Sunday.

Coach Nation Dube carries the confidence that they will win every game in the campaign.

His thought on the DeMbare encounter was that they remain cautious, as they face a wounded buffalo.

Dube’s assertion was, they will not underestimate Dynamos, given their recent fall to Highlanders.

“We respect our opponents. We know well that their loss to Highlanders does come at a cost as they are like wounded buffaloes.

“But, without reading much into the past, we will take the game as it comes. We just started to prepare for the match, and I must say, we are pulling our stockings to make sure we deliver on the day,” said Dube.

The gaffer said confidence reigned supreme among his players, following their easy 1-0 win against Yadah Stars at the season opener last Sunday.

It was a victory that Chipangano would want to retell for a long time, as in Yadah Stars, they beat a team that has the popular Billiat.

Chibuku Super Cup

“It was good to have won that game. It really lifted the players and also provided for a good bond with our fans,” he said.

DeMbare coach Genesis Mangombe, says his team will recover in the next assignment.

Dynamos also lost the season opening cup match, the Castle Lager Challenge that pitted them against Ngezi Platinum, the league winners of 2023. Dynamos qualified after winning the Chibuku Super Cup last year.

“We look forward to the next assignment,” he said.

Both teams have for years tested each other’s strength. In their last five encounters, Dynamos has registered two wins and Hwange won once. — @NkosieLegend.
