Chirambadare eyes Golden Boot Award

CHICKEN Inn forward Edmore Chirambadare says he is eyeing the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Golden Boot award. The Premiership football debutant, plucked by coach Joe Antipas from Tsholotsho, has so far scored 10 times and is tied with Highlanders’ forward Knox Mutizwa. “I want to lift the top goal scorer award. I’m looking forward to scoring about six or seven more goals. That’s my target and with God on my side I know I’ll achieve it,” said Chirambadare, 24.

“I’m very excited to have scored a goal in Triangle and I’ve made a target of scoring in each of the remaining games. I’m happy that my form is back and I would like to thank my coach for showing faith in me,” said the talented Gweru-born player.
