Chitepo school to open more centres

Masvingo Correspondent
THE Herbert Chitepo Ideological College is expected to open more learning centres in the country’s 10 provinces as part of its expansion drive, an official has said.

The school started offering an array of courses in January last year and was opened after the realisation that some people were joining Zanu-PF and even occupying leadership positions without enough knowledge of the party.

Addressing delegates during the party’s inter-district meeting held in Zaka last week, the college’s director Cde Roger Magumise said recruitment of trainers had started at ward level and that they were

seized with identifying places to set up the learning facilities.

“We want to make sure that every Zanu-PF member receives political orientation starting from cell level and this has prompted us to work on establishing schools’ in all the country’s 10 provinces,” he said.
