In a statement, municipal spokesperson Mr Tafadzwa Kachiko described Ms Chinake as a dedicated and professional employee who served the municipality with commitment after joining the organisation in 2022.

“She will be remembered for her cheerful personality, strong work ethic and unwavering willingness to serve both colleagues and residents with a warm smile,” said Mr Kachiko.

Zengeza District Officer Mr Tendai Chinganga paid tribute to Ms Chinake, describing her as a dependable and hardworking member of staff whose positive attitude inspired those around her.

“We have been robbed of a hardworking, dedicated and cheerful young colleague whose infectious smile brightened our workplace,” he said.

“Carol was always positive, dependable and ready to serve. Zengeza has lost a committed cadre, and we are poorer without her.”
