“She will be remembered for her cheerful personality, strong work ethic and unwavering willingness to serve both colleagues and residents with a warm smile,” said Mr Kachiko.

Zengeza District Officer Mr Tendai Chinganga paid tribute to Ms Chinake, describing her as a dependable and hardworking member of staff whose positive attitude inspired those around her.

“We have been robbed of a hardworking, dedicated and cheerful young colleague whose infectious smile brightened our workplace,” he said.

“Carol was always positive, dependable and ready to serve. Zengeza has lost a committed cadre, and we are poorer without her.”
