Chitungwiza is expected to host this year’s independence day celebrations for Harare Metropolitan Province.

In a statement, Chitungwiza Municipality said a provincial committee tasked with organising the event conducted a tour of proposed venues as part of preparatory work.

“St Aidan’s School was highly recommended due to its adequate space and suitable facilities, subject to further communication with the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution,” reads the statement.
