Chitungwiza woman, 54, arrested for 31kg Marijuana possession

Police have arrested a 54-year-old Chitungwiza woman after she was found in possession of 31kg of mbanje.

Florence Chiremba was arrested at her house in Unit J in the town. National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest.

“On September 2, 2025, detectives from the CID Drugs and Narcotics, Harare arrested Florence Chiremba aged 52, at a house in Unit J, Chitungwiza, for unlawful possession of 31 kg of dagga,” he said.

She will appear in court soon.
