OLD Georgians wing/scrumhalf Kuda Chiwanza believes that they will maintain the momentum as the Sevens Rugby Series continues this morning at Harare Sports Club. The Series will have Northern and Southern teams competing as it enters its second leg. Last weekend, Old Georgians dominated the series after defeating Harare Sports Club.

“We believe we have a good squad. It has a lot of potential. Last week our performance was awesome and I am sure we will be able to keep our drive.

“I enjoyed our last match and I am looking forward to the competition,” said Chiwanza.
Sevens chairman Donald Mangenje said they were expecting more excitement today with all the big clubs participating.

“The action continues and I am sure we are going to have exciting games. All our preparations for the event went well and all is set.
“This should give most of the players an opportunity to be seen and even get selected for Cheetahs,” said Mangenje.

Old Georgian’s Dragons1 are the defending champions of the tournament.
