In an interview, one of the organisers of the show said Maraire was expected to bring her live band to Bulawayo for the first time.
“Maraire is billed to perform at a stand up comedy that is going to be held in the city on the 17 February and this is going to her first show in Bulawayo this year,” he said.
Maraire has tried to be unique each time she comes to Bulawayo as in 2011 she performed using her acoustic guitar.
“This year Maraire has decided to bring her live band to Bulawayo and this is the first time that she has done so,” said the official
He said the standup comedians are going to be a surprise to fans that are going to attend the show.
“We want this show to be more of a surprise to fans out there. The show is going to kick start with the comedians taking to the stage to curtain raisers for Maraire
The official said after Maraire’s performance, local DJs will take over and play music until the following day.
“Maraire is promising fire works as she wants to make up for her last show that was cancelled due to rains,” said the official.
