HARRY KANE and Alexis Sanchez are among a host of names who could be making the family fry-up come Boxing Day a given they are just one game away from suspension.
The pair are just two names of a lengthy list who have picked up four yellow cards this season.
Notable stars include Manchester United trio Ashley Young, Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo a who infuriatingly has only played four matches since returning from injury.
Premier League leaders Manchester City also have suspension concerns of their own, with Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho and Leroy Sane one yellow away from a ban.
Elsewhere, Arsenal have Sanchez and Granit Xhaka, Spurs have Kane and Jan Vertonghen, while Liverpool only Dejan Lovren.
FA rules say that once a player has received five yellow cards he gets a one-match suspension from domestic fixtures.
Players are suspended for accumulating five, 10 and 15 yellow cards in a season.
But there is also a cut-off date for December 31 so that any player earning a fifth yellow card on January 1 will not be suspended by the FA.
Meanwhile, a host of players are currently serving Premier League suspensions.
Chelseaas Marcos Alonso, Brightonas Shane Duffy, Palaceas Christian Benteke, Huddersfieldas Jonathan Hogg and Leicesteras Wilfried Ndidi all have one more game of a ban to serve, as does Watfordas Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Meanwhile Jojo Shelvey has two games of a ban yet to go and Doucoureas Hornets team-mates Troy Deeney and Marvin Zeegelaar both have three games of a ban to go. – Online .
