MOSES “Bambo “ Chunga believes they have a very good team that can put the Eastern Region Championship race to bed in style and book their ticket into the Premiership next season. Hippo Valley need only a point to qualify for the top-flight league.
Chunga said his team was focussed and they will get the point in their next home game this weekend.
Hippo Valley have been the standout team in the Eastern Region and will face Tenax knowing that a point will be enough to take them home.
Chunga’s army boasts of a number of veterans like Brighton Pamhirwa, Felix Kuswatuka, Fidelis Mangezi, Asani Nhongo and Rowan Nenzou, players who might struggle in the Premiership but are better than the lot found in Division One. The former Zimbabwe captain said his mission was to deliver a Premiership ticket to Hippo Valley, which he prefers to call Happy Valley.
He said he was not on a mission to build his profile but deliver Premiership football.
“Personally, I am satisfied as when I came the name Moses Chunga was already thrown in Chiredzi,” Said Chunga.
