Church in drive to ease challenges in communities

Herald Reporter

The Church is increasingly playing an integral role in tackling issues affecting communities like teen pregnancies and drug and substance abuse.

It is in this vein that Seke Central Zone of the United Family International Church is hosting a crusade called the “Great Harvest Crusade” from September 11 to 14 at Unit H Grounds.

“The church services will be held starting from 5pm every day during the four days.

“The main purpose of the crusade is evangelical, but also to look at challenges that communities are facing that can be solved in such an environment, including ailments, poverty and drugs that are common to youth, and also restoration of good morals,” said Pastor John Lymon.

Entertainment will be provided by Bishop Leonard Zhakata, musician Tapiwa Masara, T Magacha and the UFIC choir.
