Kyle scored their try five minutes later.
Kudzai Mashawi and Victor Chimusoro scored tries in the second half while Toriro touched down with another conversion before scoring a penalty.
Churchill sports director, Happymore Mutezo, was happy with the teams’ performance.
“I am very happy with the boys, they played well and hopefully they will keep working as a team.” said Mutezo.
Churchill were expected to play Lomagundi College but the latter refused to plunge into combat claiming their opponents were fielding over-aged plaers.
“I do not understand why Lomagundi have refused to play us, they are claiming that our players are over-aged,” said Mutezo.
“None of our players are over-aged, I called the sports director of Lomagundi and asked him why they have decided that we do not play them and he said they were
going to have an inter-house rugby hence they can not play us.
“I am a person who does not believe in age cheating and I told Lomagundi that they are free to come and verify the ages. We have played Prince Edward, Peterhouse, St George’s before and it is disappointing that a team, which is supposed to be among the powerhouses, can act that way.
