President Mnangagwa has declared Director Investments in the President’s Office, Cde Nash Dzimiri a national hero.
Zanu PF National Political Commissar, Dr Mike Bimha delivered the message to the family last night.
Cde Dzimiri died on April 16 after a short illness.
Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister Kazembe Kazembe said they will be meeting the family for burial arrangements which will be announced in due course.
Mourners are gathered at the national hero’s house in Mt Pleasant, Harare.
Cde Dzimiri is survived by his wife and eight children.
