DYNAMOS Technical Director Aristica Cioaba has ordered a two-day camp ahead of the Harare Derby as he moves to douse fire in his camp.
The Romanian, who was expected to join the team Thursday morning after a week away, has told players to report straight into camp immediately after today’s training session.
Cioaba returns to a club in turmoil.
On the pitch, there’s a fall-out between the technical team and forward Nathan Mutasa, in a negative development that threatens fissures in the team.
Mutasa remains barred from doing drills with the rest of the team, and for the past two days he has been training alone on the sidelines.
Off the pitch, the executive is split by boardroom squabbles that have forced chief executive officer Desmond Bvute to submit a resignation, while patron Webster Shamu has made efforts to intervene.
With the derby against CAPS United penciled for Rufaro on Saturday, Cioaba is banking on isolation (camp) to strip out distractions and refocus the Glamour Boys.
The camp will be used to iron out the hanging issues and re-instill unity before the big battle.
DeMbare are currently in fourth position on the log table with 46 points while CAPS United are sixth and three points adrift the Harare giants.
