City of Mutare embark on water meter assessment, replacement exercise

THE City of Mutare is conducting a citywide water meter assessment and replacement exercise, beginning with the top 3 000 water consumers.

In a notice, City of Mutare principal corporate communications and marketing officer, Mr Charles Sadondo, said the purpose of the exercise is to reduce billing complaints as a result of the use of estimates.

“The process will hereafter be conducted continuously. We are kindly urging all residents, stakeholders and property owners to cooperate fully with the team conducting this exercise,” he said.
