adminThe city is currently engaged in termination negotiations with EasiHold of South Africa over a joint parking business that council feels is not benefiting it. According to the latest full council minutes — the loan secured from MetBank will be used to “kickstart” operations of Harare City Parking. Parking marshals will be identified by their sky blue uniform and the rising sun which is the company logo. Trafalgar Court will be the headquarters. This practically means the parking business will be controlled by two companies — EasiPark and Harare City Parking if the decision to terminate the parking deal with EasiHold does not succeed. The areas that will be covered by Harare City Parking in the interim are bounded by Samora Machel Avenue to the north, beyond Charter Road to the south, Chinhoyi Street to the east and Kaguvi Street to the west.
