CJ Global Express Group Unlimited owner Professor Clemence Jaricha has announced a US$890 million investment programme aimed at accelerating infrastructure development, expanding hospitality services and creating jobs across Southern Africa.
The investment will fund a range of projects in Zimbabwe and Botswana, with the company saying the initiative is intended to stimulate economic growth, improve regional connectivity and create employment opportunities.
In Zimbabwe, the company is developing commercial shopping malls, service stations and road infrastructure to strengthen trade and transport networks.
In Botswana, CJ Global Express Group is constructing a five-star hotel between Plumtree and Gaborone, a project expected to enhance tourism and business activity in the region.
As part of the expansion, the company officially opened recruitment on August 4, 2026, offering more than 300 employment opportunities across its various projects. Applications close on August 20, 2026.
Speaking on the investment, Professor Jaricha said the initiative demonstrates the company’s commitment to regional development.
“This investment reflects our commitment to job creation, infrastructure development and economic growth in the region. We are building for the future of our communities,” he said.
