President Mnangagwa has urged Zanu PF members to safeguard the future of the party by strengthening its structures and ensuring ongoing programmes are sustained for the benefit of generations to come.
Addressing the 129th Central Committee meeting today, the President said: “Let’s leave the party in a good state for the sake of those who shall come after us.”
He called on the structures to continue expanding the party’s grassroots reach, saying all organs must keep welcoming supporters.
President Mnangagwa encouraged collective effort in pushing national development through the National Development Strategy 2.
“Let us make sure that NDS2 is a success,” he said.
The President stressed that resources availed to the Central Committee must be channelled towards making the party stronger.
He said Government is implementing several projects across the country.
As the festive season approaches, President Mnangagwa encouraged a spirit of hospitality.
“During this festive season, let’s be hospitable,” he said
“As our relatives and friends return home for Christmas, let’s share with our diaspora the policies and projects that we are doing.”
