COMEDIAN Runyararo Mavi, popularly known as ‘Georgina the Breadwinner’, is gearing up to release her highly anticipated single “Taidanana Wani,” featuring musician Obert Chari.
The song, set to drop soon, is a Jiti-infused track with a social commentary twist, showcasing her unique style.
In an interview with H-Metro Georgina said:
“I am currently shooting the video for my new song and once it’s out, it is going to make waves.
“This new song is going to teach people to mend their relationships and communication.
“I chose to feature Obert Chari because of his talent and popularity,” she said.
She said she dreams of working with top artists like Winky D in the future.
Georgina’s musical journey began in church choirs as a child.
She started recording in 2020, blending Jiti and gospel genres.
“Growing up in the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) shaped me but, as an artist, I want to represent our culture and values through music,” she said.
Her artistic talent extends beyond music as she is also an actress, passionate about arts and she has acted in films like “Because Of Love”, “Back From America,” to name but just a few.
“I do everything involving arts, I want to be a star,” she said.
“I am a cheerful giver, I have always liked donating to churches and schools.”
