Prominent comedian and content creator Admire Takudzwa Mushambi, popularly known as Mama Vee, is now facing arrest after failing to attend a scheduled court appearance at the Harare Magistrates Court.

Mama Vee is a key witness in a fraud case involving the E-Creator Ponzi scheme, which allegedly defrauded victims of over US$300 000.

Regional magistrate Mr Francis Mapfumo issued the warrant of arrest after Mama Vee failed to attend the  court proceedings.

However, another witness and social media personality, Madam Boss real name Tarisai Cleopatra Munetsiva, told the court that Mama Vee was the one who  introduced her to the owners of  E-Creator.

Madam Boss revealed that she was approached to create a Facebook advertisement for the scheme and was paid for the service.

Subsequently, she decided to join the scheme and invested US$100.

She also encouraged her husband and  relatives to participate.
