STAND-UP comedian Carl Joshua Ncube (pictured) took a dig at Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, over reports that there was manhood enlargement at his congregation. Reports are that the prophet performed the miracle at his United Family International Church (UFIC) in Chitungwiza, where he enlarged a Namibian’s manhood.
Posting at his Facebook wall, Ncube said the (UFIC)’s male following will grow.
“Makandiwa’s male congregation is about to grow, male organ enlargement in the church, eish that’s a hard one to swallow,” posted Ncube.
Explaining his statement, Ncube said as stand-up comedians, they got their jokes from the burning issues of the day.
“That’s how we get our jokes. Issues in the society makes us go to work,” he said.
The versatile comedian urged upcoming stand-up comedians to be courageous and to work hard in order to achieve better goals.
The comedian said he was happy with the manner in which stand-up comedy was shaping up in Zimbabwe.
He is set to perform in the United States (May) and Canada (July) before he comes back for another one-man show in Zimbabwe.
He was named brand ambassador of ZIMEXPO 2013 to be held in the US in May this year.
Ncube has been described as “the new face of Zimbabwean comedy” in a CNN interview and is the first Zimbabwean to perform at Parkers Comedy Club, South Africa and the programme “Night of a Thousand Laughs” in Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda.
