Hurungwe, Cde Veloso hailed Zanu-PF for keeping strong ties with the ruling Frelimo party.
“As we give you this gift, we want to commend good relations that exist between our countries,” he said.
Cde Veloso said Mozambicans in Zimbabwe should respect and thank the Zimbabwean Government for the hospitality they accorded them over the years.
He thanked the local leadership for accommodating his people whom he also urged to be law-abiding so as to continue to be accorded the hospitality. Ward 2 councillor (Zanu-PF) in the area, Cde Gilbert Chibayamagora, urged the two countries to keep such friendly connections.
