The company presented 30 blankets, 369 kilogrammes of mealie meal and US$670 for school fees and other needs of the children.
The company has been donating to the home for the past six years.
Seed CO public relations and communications manager, Ms Majory Mutemererwa, commended the home saying the nourished children were proof of the good work it was doing.
The director of the home, Mrs Maria Sithole said Seed Co has stood by them even in difficult times.
“2008 was a tough year but we did not starve because Seed Co was very supportive,” she said.
Mrs Sithole expressed appreciation to the Harare community for financial, emotional and material support.
“Newlands Swiss clinic assists us with free medical tests for infected children,” she said.
She appealed to individuals to assist by adopting and providing foster care because the children needed parental love and care.
The home is in need of a generator because of power cuts in the area and one of the boreholes at the institution needs repair.
It accommodates 95 boys and girls with the youngest being three months old and the oldest 20.
