In terms of the agreement Comztek, through Pop Technologies, will be able to provide an in-country Microsoft office for local traders.
Comztek was appointed as a Microsoft Distributor in Zimbabwe in June last year.
Pop Technologies is a Zimbabwe-based IT solutions company driven by a team with extensive experience in the areas of project management, information technology, finance and banking.
Comztek Rest of Africa sales director Ms Bridget Kelly said her organisation was well positioned to assist the reseller to establish and grow customer relationships through the delivery of consistent, top quality services.
“This newly-formed agreement is very exciting and provides our Microsoft partners in Zimbabwe with access to the service they have requested.
“They will now have the ability to provide faster turnaround times totheir resellers, a service essential to successful partnership.
“The announcement is further proof of the value and commitment that we place on the Zimbabwean market.
“We are committed to drive long-term value for Microsoft, Pop Technologies and the Zimbabwean resellers,” she said.
Pop Technologies business development manager for Microsoft products Ms Linda Mutangadura said the
arrangement was an indication of Comztek’s commitment to the Zimbabwean market.

“We are extremely excited to add the Microsoft distributorship to ourportfolio of products; ultimately our clients stand to benefit as wecontinue to leverage on our extensive network of partners,” said Ms Mutangadura.
Comztek Africa was established in 2004 to expand Comztek’s distribution footprint beyond South Africa and current regional operations include Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and in East Africa.
Comztek management says it aims to extend its share of the African information and communication technology market through the localisation of various aspects of its operations such as customer interface, stock-holding and warranty administration.
