The family of Annah Muzvidziwa, a former secretary to the late MDC president, Dr Morgan Tsvangirai, who was currently working as the executive secretary of the opposition in parliament, is expressing deep concern over her mysterious disappearance. Ms Muzvidziwa, who had been working for parliament, vanished under puzzling circumstances, leaving her husband and children behind, sparking worry and confusion among her loved ones.
Ms Muzvidziwa’s association with Dr. Tsvangirai during his tenure as Prime Minister had led to various challenges in her professional life, including several run-ins stemming from her time working for the late leader.
Notably, she had her car broken into and two of her laptops stolen, adding to the strain she had been experiencing. She had confided in some family members about feeling unsafe, further intensifying their apprehension about her sudden disappearance.
“After the laptops were stolen, Annah became dodgy and was even reluctant to go to work saying she was receiving various threatening calls,” said a family member on condition of anonymity.
During her time working for parliament, Ms Muzvidziwa’s discomfort had been evident, and her unease was palpable to those closest to her. Her disappearance has left her family in a state of distress, uncertain of her whereabouts and the circumstances surrounding her departure.
“We are deeply worried about Annah’s sudden disappearance. Her safety has always been a concern, especially given the challenges she faced in her professional life. Her departure has left us bewildered and anxious for her well-being. We urge anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. Our primary focus is on her safe return, and we are hopeful that she will be found unharmed,” said the family member.
The mysterious nature of her disappearance has prompted widespread concern and speculation, as her loved ones anxiously await news of her well-being.
