PHOTO: Construction of the Joshua Nkomo Express Highway

Construction of the Joshua Nkomo Express Highway – which links Harare International Airport and the Central Business District – is now at an advanced stage after the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (Zinara) took over from Harare City Council and Augur Investments.

The US$80 million project began five years ago.

Senior Sunday Mail Photographer Kudakwashe Hunda photographed construction workers scrapping a section of the road that had been constructed by the previous contractor.
