Cook faces one month ban

Alastair Cook is on the brink of a one-match ban after England were fined for a slow over-rate in the one-day international against India in Cardiff.
The England captain was fined 20 percent of his match fee, with the other England players fined 10 percent of their match fees.Cook would face a ban if England repeat the offence in one-day international cricket during the next 12 months.

India beat England by 133 runs in the second one-dayer at Cardiff and lead the five-match series 1-0.

The first one-day international at Bristol was abandoned without any play because of rain.

The tourists were fined for a slow over-rate during the fifth-Test defeat by England at The Oval. — BBC Sport
