Cops hunt Vic Falls killers

POLICE in Victoria Falls have launched a manhunt for killers of Timothy Zimucha who was assaulted at a beer drink and died later in hospital. Sources said Zimucha was assaulted after refusing to share beer with the suspects at Mukali Bottle Store on Saturday. Zimucha, of 8278 Mkhosana suburb died last Monday at Victoria Falls District Hospital.

He was admitted on Sunday after a neighbour, Tafadzwa Gambiza, rushed him to hospital. Matabeleland North provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Siphiwe Makonese could not be reached for a comment yesterday. Police sources, however, said investigations had been opened following the alleged assault and death.
