CORPORATE 24 Hospital has opened its first state-of-the-art medical centre in Bulawayo expected to change the landscape in the provision health care in the city.
The centre situated along Josiah Tongogara, at Parharm House in the city centre, was officially opened by Health and Child Care Deputy Minister Aldrin Musiiwa on Friday.
Cde Musiiwa said some people always complain that Bulawayo always came second on many projects, but it has also been realised that being second actually was an advantage.
“Those who come second get the corrected products from the first ones. The mistakes and experiences faced by the first Corporate 24 Hospital has resulted in Bulawayo getting a better hospital,” he said.
Speaking at the launch, Corporate 24 chief executive officer Dr Mike Joka said: “We packaged ourselves and we were determined to expand, we started only doing consultations and observing patients in 2009. Today I am glad that we will be offering a comprehensive range of health care services such as emergency and walk in, maternity, pharmacy, radiography, laboratory and theatre services. I am even confident that we can withstand any competition.”
The medical centre will offer 24-hour service and would offer a wide range of services such as maternity, theatre and many other heath related services.
