The Unplugged concert which took place last Saturday at Greendale Sports Club was a success as all artistes who were expected to be there came through.

Unplugged is an outdoor experience which has been there for close to a decade, and is regarded as the pioneer of picnic concerts in the capital. This time around, the event included one South African artiste Costa Titch and from Zimbabwe were Holy Ten, Adiona, Leo Magozz and King 98, with two disk jockeys; Dj Rino and Dj Tk Beatz.

The event started around 2pm ended almost at 10pm.

People came in numbers for the live performance.

The general tickets were US$10, chillzone was US$50 in advance and US$70 by the gate, US$5 was for kids below 12 years.

Revellers continue arriving in the evening, and at around 7 O’clock, the price of the tickets was raised much to the chagrin of the late comers. Seeing that it was Costa Titch’s second time performing in Harare after the show he came for some time in March, many people came anticipating fireworks.

On arrival at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport earlier, Costa Titch refused to do the interview with journalists.

At the event, all the artistes sang well and got the audience excited, with the Master of Ceremony, Butterfly and MC Cut, adding to fun.

Costa Titch performed around 9pm and gave his hit songs which included “Big flexa’,” “Unkalakatha,” “Areyeng” and “Uthini’.”

His performance was great as he showed some energy on the stage and got the crowd screaming with excitement.

Not only did Costa Titch sing on stage, but he also was the disc jockey on some of amapiano songs he played.

Holy 10 being one of the most recognised artiste of late, who has been releasing many songs, gave the best of his songs including “Kumba kune vhanu,” “Gamu” and “Fire Emoji” the one he featured with Leo Magozz and others.

Some of the songs that Leo Magozz performed were “Mugomo” “Before you go” and “Fire Emoji’.” Everything was set to standard including the stage, the lights and the play section for the kids which had a jumping castle.

In a previous interviews with event organizer Ellinah Chipumha she had advised fans to brace for an explosive performance and indeed that is what the fans got.
