Police who were patrolling Solwezi Village received information that Ndlovu was selling mbanje.
They then proceeded to search his homestead and found ten cobs of mbanje in a bucket which was concealed in a house under construction. The mbanje weighed 1,228 kg.

Ndlovu denied the allegations and he was remanded in custody to Monday for trial.
