Communist Party and Central Committee publicity head Cde Liu Yunshan has said.
The CPC politburo member visited the Great Zimbabwe monuments yesterday.
He hailed Zimbabwe-China relations saying Beijing was more than humbled by the hand of friendship extended by Harare.
Cde Liu, who was accompanied by his Zanu-PF counterpart Cde Rugare Gumbo said his delegation was touched by the friendship exuded by Zimbabweans.
“We are deeply impressed by the Great Zimbabwe which shows that Zimbabwe has got a very great history and civilisation.
“I must also say that as the Chinese we feel greatly touched by the friendly sentiments that come from Zimbabwe.”
He said his visit had accorded the two parties and countries an opportunity to discuss major issues of common interest. Cde Gumbo described Sino-Zim relations as crucial to the two countries. He said the parties had crucial discussions centred on issues of common interest. The delegation visited the museum and the Shona Cultural village.
