Craft Properties Private Limited chief executive officer (CEO) Professor Kudakwashe Taruberekera has been invited to the Global Perspectives On Africa, an international summit to be held on November 3, 2025.
He leads one of Zimbabwe’s leading real estate companies, offering property development, sales, letting, valuations, and property management services in Zimbabwe.
The UK Indaba is an inaugural convention of CNN International’s new live event series to be held at The Chancery Rosewood, London, United Kingdom.
The full-day event will explore the forces that will shape Africa in the next century and how Africa will, in turn, shape the world.
It will also host several senior leaders and influential decision makers, as well as CNN journalists.
The event will convene leaders, CEOs, and innovators to examine the big ideas, bold leadership and dynamic economies at the frontlines of global transformation.
“Our first summit will focus on Africa, home to some of the world’s fastest-growing markets, a generation of rising talent, and critical supply chains that are in global demand,” said CNN Worldwide managing editor Mr Mike McCarthy in the invitation letter.
From tech innovators and global policymakers to cultural leaders and sustainability champions, our confirmed speakers promise to bring bold ideas and real-world impact to the stage.
Some of the speakers who have confirmed their attendance at the event include prominent figures like Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, group chairman & CEO of DP World, Mark Suzman, CEO of the Gates Foundation, Dr Rania A Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Cristina Duarte, United Nations under-secretary-general and special adviser on Africa.
The event will also feature influential voices from the creative industry, including Omovemi Akerele, founder of Lagos Fashion Week, and Professor Lesley Lokko OBE, founder and chairman of the African Futures Institute.
Renowned author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Tsitsi Masiyiwa, co-founder and chair of Higherlife Foundation, will bring their unique perspectives to the discussions.
Business leaders such as Ralph Mupita, group president and CEO of MTN, and Sakaja Arthur Johnson, governor of Nairobi City County, will also be in attendance.
The sessions at the event will be moderated by a team of seasoned CNN journalists, including Christiane Amanpour, Richard Quest, Jim Sciutto, Zain Asher, Eleni Giokos, and Larry Madowo.
