The Civil Service Commission has sent a condolence message to the Sekeramayi family and the country at large following the death of Zimbabwe Electoral Commission chief elections officer Mr Lovemore Sekeramayi.
Mr Sekeramayi (67) died while attending a SADC elections bodies meeting in Lesotho on June 4 and was buried on Sunday at Marova Village in Chihota.
He was found dead in his hotel room and the cause of death has been cited as heart and lung failure.
In a statement, the CSC said: “The Acting Chairman, Defence Forces Service Commission, Police Service Commission, Prison and Correctional Service Commission, the Secretary and staff, extend heartfelt condolences to Mrs Sekeramayi and family.
“While it is hard to dry the tears at this very difficult time, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.”
