Business executive Mr Dakarai Mapuranga has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Big House Construction (BHC), a regional construction company with operations in Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe.
Mr Mapuranga, who takes over the reins at BHC with immediate effect, expressed gratitude to his former colleagues while outlining his vision for the new role.
“I am grateful to my colleagues at The Broadhaven Group and wish them every success in the future. I now look forward to this exciting new chapter with Big House Construction, not just building structures, but efficiently creating amazing solutions for our communities,” he said.
Big House Construction is one of Southern Africa’s fast-growing players in the construction industry, delivering residential and commercial projects across the region.
The company has steadily expanded its footprint in recent years, earning a reputation for innovation and community-focused infrastructure development.
Mr Mapuranga brings with him a wealth of experience in corporate leadership and infrastructure development, having previously served in senior roles at The Broadhaven Group, where he was instrumental in driving business growth and strategic partnerships.
His appointment is expected to bolster BHC’s ambition of becoming a key regional leader in providing modern, sustainable, and community-driven construction solutions.
