Killer T’s prowess on the musical arena has impacted his cousin King Zigger who is not just a dancehall artiste but also seeks to pursue the trending Gqom and Amapiano.
The nascent singer who grew up dining with the celebrated Killer T has relocated to the City of Kings to observe and learn from the home of arts, Bulawayo. In search of a new market on his wish list, lies the Ndebele-associated genres to connect with the local audiences.
“I recently moved to Bulawayo so that I can learn new genres, Gqom and Amapiano, so that I widen my music skills and later on engage in producing this kind of music,” said Zigger.
The dancehall artiste recited a statement from his cousin that made him perceive the music industry from another perspective: “Do not make music because you need money and fame. Do music for love with all your heart to touch souls.”
