LONDON. — David de Gea GEA believes that he will be STAYING at Manchester United next season.
According to Spanish publication AS, the Spain goalkeeper reckons that Real Madrid are not willing to meet his £39 million buy-out clause.
The former Atletico Madrid man can leave if Real stump up €50m before June 15 — with De Gea apparently set to receive a monster £8.5m from Los Blancos if they fail to seal a deal by that date. But with the clocking ticking down, there has reportedly been NO contact from Real to either De Gea or his agent Jorge Mendes.
And AS say that has led to De Gea thinking that he will still at Old Trafford under new boss Jose Mourinho next season.
Added to that, De Gea spoke positively last week about “winner” Mourinho and his own determination to win more silverware with the Red Devils. — The Sun.
