GWERU Southern Suburbs will be without power on September 10,2023, between 9am and 3 pm due to scheduled maintainance.
In a statement, Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) said affected areas include:
Gwenoro Water Works, Somabhula Area, Impali Housing, Zimasco Peak & Railway Block Mines, Mkoba, Almid, Nashville, Northlea, Fallow Corner, Umsungwe, Athlone, Riverside, Senga, Falcon Golden Quarry, Shurugwi Woodlands, Ascot, Mambo, Light Industry, Anchor Ranch, Industrial Sands, Figtree, Daisyfield Farm, Treetops shops, Guineafowl, Model Mining, Sinononferrous, Turnoff Investments, Rolly26 Mine, Guineafowl High, Leadville Mine,Bsbk Mining, Afrochine Mine, Tibilikwe Mine, INDIVA, Whitewater’s Waterworks, Kabanga Clinic, Anderson High and the surrounding areas.
“Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice,” reads the statement.
