The Zimbabwean finished tied with highly-rated South African golfer, Charl Shwartzel and Americans Chris DiMarko, Matt Kuchar, Brian Harman and Bryce Molder and Swedish professional Peter Hanson.
He took his season’s earnings to US$674,658.
Martin Laird of Scotland won the event on 14-under to beat former world number one Rory Mcllroy, who settled for second place, by two shots.
Laird walked home US$1,116,000 richer.
Meanwhile, Ben Follet-Smith continued with his dominance in the amateur ranks after he won the 2013 edition of the Midlands Amateur Championships at Gweru Country Club at the weekend.
The Royal Harare amateur had scores of 71, 74, 71 and 70 after the four rounds.
The former Wingate player said winning the event was a big boost ahead of the upcoming Golden Pilsener Zimbabwe Open.
“I feel great to win the tournament, especially going towards the Zimbabwe Open, it is a big motivation for me and I will continue to work hard,” Follet-Smith said.
“I think joining Royal Harare this year is helping me because there are better facilities at Royal Harare. The competition was strong but I managed to dominate once again, so I feel great.”
Clive Nguru was second position after a three-over-par 291.
Thembelani Vundhla and Grant Hudson were tied on third place.
