ZPC Kariba have carved out a reputation as set-piece specialists.
Half of their 20 goals this season have come directly or indirectly from dead-ball situations.
Their latest match, a 1-2 defeat to championship-chasing Scottland, was no exception.
They the net through a headed goal from a corner.
Coach Newton Chitehwe conceded that dead balls were part of their major weapons.
“We are still scoring more goals from set-pieces. That is our strength and we have to utilise that.
“We always work on these things in training but, in a match, players sometimes lose focus.
“They are affected by a lot of things, including pressure.
“We have to keep working on that for us to keep on improving.”
ZPC Kariba lost a key figure, Boid Mutukure, in their backline mid-season.
Chitehwe said:
“Yes, it is something that is affecting us. But we have to continue without him. We have to learn without him and look for other ways to make these guys solid again.
“We are going to come right.”
ZPC’s next assignment is against in-form Triangle who are on a 12-game unbeaten run.
