The spread of false rumour about his death over the weekend has inspired musician Jah Prayzah to release a single called “Karunyerekupe”.
Over the weekend the social media was awash with the news that the musician was involved in car crash and died on the spot on his way to Karoi for a show.Yesterday Jah Prayzah said he was inspired to record the single after the rumour.
“As artistes we face a lot of things and some of these things inspire us. I am sure this single will be well received by my fans who were disturbed by the news,” he said.
He, however, blasted whoever spread the rumour saying it was bad for someone to wish him dead.
“I was disturbed by the news I received during the weekend. How can someone seriously wish for someone’s death? Better wish for my poverty rather than death. It’s better that way at least ndinenge ndirimupenyu.
