Defence Forces Golf Day on today

THE annual Commander Zimbabwe Defence Forces Fundraising Golf Tournament is on today at the Borrowdale Brooke Golf Course with at least 30 teams expected to take part.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, Mushamukadzi chairperson, Mary Chiwenga, said it’s part of the philanthropic initiatives by the Commander Zimbabwe Defence Forces General Constantine Chiwenga.

“A dinner has been pencilled for today at Borrowdale Brooke Golf Course,” she said.

“This year’s edition of the CDF Fundraising Golf Amateur Tournament and Dinner will be attended by General A.G Olonisakin, Chief of Defence Staff for the Nigerian Defence Forces.

“Other delegates from the region’s Defence Forces will also participate at the event.

“Proceeds will be channelled towards Musha Mukadzi Foundation philanthropic and empowerment projects. This year we are assisting a four-year-old boy who was born with a rare type of disease.”
